Surgical instruments · Crestal sinus approach
A procedure-specific kit for crestal sinus elevation and implant-site preparation in the posterior maxilla.
Reduced residual bone height beneath the maxillary sinus can complicate implant placement. The CAS kit brings together specialized drills, hydraulic membrane-elevation components and graft-delivery instruments in one organized workflow.
CAS workflow
Five functions in one coordinated system.
Each instrument has a defined role in access, preparation, membrane elevation, graft delivery or bone collection. The final technique depends on residual bone height, sinus anatomy, imaging findings and professional training.
Rounded-tip preparation
The rounded drill-tip design is intended to support controlled preparation near the sinus floor and reduce the risk of direct membrane contact during the prescribed crestal approach.
Adapted to different sinus-floor forms
The counter-tapered drill design is illustrated for flat, inclined and septum-adjacent sinus-floor anatomy. Case selection and depth control must be based on imaging and the current surgical protocol.
Hydraulic membrane elevation
The membrane-elevator tip is designed to seal the osteotomy during saline delivery, concentrating hydraulic pressure at the prepared site for controlled membrane elevation.
Controlled graft delivery
A funnel-shaped bone carrier supports focused delivery of graft material into the prepared site. The source page states a delivery capacity of up to 0.15 cc per application.
Autologous bone collection
The cutting geometry is designed so bone fragments can collect between the blades during preparation, providing material that may be managed according to the clinician's grafting plan.
Complete instrumentation
Designed around sinus augmentation and implant placement.
The CAS Tool Box combines sinus-elevation, drilling and grafting instruments so the surgical team can prepare and organize the planned crestal approach from one tray.
System advantages
Sinus-elevation instruments
Purpose-designed instruments support the delicate steps of crestal sinus access and membrane elevation with controlled handling.
Procedure-specific drills
Multiple diameters and lengths help the clinician select the planned depth and preparation sequence for the individual anatomy.
